MapWI Instructions

Software Requirements:

The maps on this website must be viewed in a modern web browser with JavaScript enabled. I recommend Mozilla Firefox. If you are using Internet Explorer, you will also require the Adobe Flash plugin to compensate for Microsoft's lack of support for web standards. If you encounter problems, please ensure that your browser and all plugins are up to date. MapWI is currently not supported on Android, but if you use Android you may be able view the site by installing Firefox.

Finding Maps:

Use the navigation links at the top of the page to browse the maps available at this site.

Working with Maps:

Hover your cursor over a region on a map to see relevant information about that region. You can also access this information in the tables included below each map.

Use the controls above a map to change the data displayed or to make the map bigger or smaller.

Click on any region of a map to jump to information about that region in the table below it. Click on a row of the table to make the corresponding region blink on the map. Click on a selection a second time to clear it.

Sort information in the table by clicking on the title of the column you wish to sort it by.
